KAYAK INSTRUCTION
Blackwater Outdoor Adventures offers quality kayak
instruction. Our classes are primarily held on the Cheat River located just a short
distance from Canaan Valley, WV.
Private instruction or small group classes are available. Please call ahead
for reservations.
Beginner Kayak Lesson
An introduction to the
basics of whitewater and flat-water kayaking. The Class I-II
course will cover water safety, paddling strokes, proper equipment and water
reading techniques as well as plenty of time to practice. The class may be
tailored to a student's needs and no prior kayaking experience is necessary.
Advanced Kayak Lesson
These classes will be designed for an individual's needs. Prior kayaking
experience is required.

1 person 150.00 per person
2 people 125.00 per person
3 people 115.00 per person
4 people 100.00 per person
1 to 4 instructor/student ratio.
Price includes riverside picnic, qualified instructors, shuttle and all
equipment.
